Agave powder is made from the sap of the agave plant (various species, e.g. Agave tequilana ), which is traditionally grown in Mexico. The sap is extracted from the core of the plant (the so-called piña), processed and turned into a sweet nectar/syrup, which in the “powder” product is dried into a powder form.
